About father ejike mbaka
Reverend father ejike camilus anthony, Mbaka is the founder, spiritual director of the mega-worship center known as the Adoration Ministry, enugu nigeria.
He was born to the family of Ogbuefi Humphrey and Mrs. Felicia mbaka of Amata, Ituku awgu village, in awgu local government area of enugu state, in the year 1957.
He went to Maranatha international nursery and primary school, Ndiagu akpugo.
And after that, he proceeded into St. vincent secondary school, agbogugu, in awgu local government area of the state.
He started his ministry around 1993 while he was a seminarian, at the holy-ghost seminary enugu,. and he performed the first miracle of raising a dead child in 1994.
Father mbaka attended seat of wisdom seminary owerri, imo state; and St. Joseph's seminary, ikot-ekpene, in akwa-ibom state, where he was trained into priesthood.
He was ordained a catholic priest in the catholic diocese of enugu , on 29th july 1995, and was posted to the christ the king parish emene-enugu, where he established his e no dey again weekly wednesday prayer and counseling fellowship.
And, from the e no dey again gathering he started the adoration ministry, which later was moved to umuchigbo, iji-nike, in emene-enugu.
Father mbaka started the huge project of building the permanent site of the adoration ground in 2008, with a very beautiful drawing, but has been battling to complete the project.
The adorers, that is, those people who attend the ministry, have contributed so much out of Gods abundant blessings to help the project, but it is still under construction.
Father mbaka is a preacher of truth about the gospel of God, and a devoted activist for good governance.
Mbaka was embattled by chimaroke nnamani, the former governor of Enugu during his tenure in office. And later, the governor gave up.
Many people was killed at the adoration ground when the thugs sent by the former governor, hit the venue.

After then, when father mbaka became victorious, he became very famous, and his ministry started attracting multitude of attenders, numbering tens of millions.
In 2014/2015 cross-over night, mbaka declared his support for Muhammadu buhari who was contexting for presidency of the federal republic of nigeria.
This drew many attentions to him, as his candidate, buhari later became the president.
But as time went on, things changed from total support to total controversy as mbaka Started criticising former president, Muhamadu Buhari and asked him to resign or be removed from the seat, as his government became worst.
Criticism arose from both sides against father mbaka. Both those who supported Buhari, and those who was against him, from 2014. This was happening between 2017 and 2018 against the 2019 Nigeria's general election.
Even the catholic Bishop of enugu diocese, Rev. Dr. Callistus valentine Onaga stood up along with other controversial priests against father mbaka, saying that he has left the message which he was meant to be preaching and deviated to the business of politics. And he is not openly into politics but he is indirectly supporting politicians of his choice with his sermons.
This claim led the bishop to transferring father mbaka from st. joseph's catholic parish, to the christ the king parish GRA.
And recently, the priest was sent to pray at the monastery after he flaunted the agreement he reached with the bishop stating that he won't talk about the national politics on the adoration ground again. This happened in 2023, during the Nigerian general election. He spoke about the 2023 general election, saying that mr. peter obi will not be able to ascend to the president seat, and that he was so stingy that he can not bribe his way up there. this made hatred to rise very high against him, and he was suspended temporarily from the ministry.
When he left, he was replaced by father anthony amadi; who was also a ministering priest in the ministry; and shortly he returned and took over his position as the spiritual leader of the ministry.
Now, father mbaka is around his 67th year in 2024 and he drives variety of cars, like lexus 470, nissan- infinity, and more.
